TV host-model and actress Isabelle Daza apologized after garnering criticisms on social media for her allegedly offensive post about African children.

On Daza’s Instagram (IG) stories, she posted a photo asking if she should use her money to buy a hat or feed the children of Africa for the same price, and even added, “What would Angelina Jolie do?”

The said IG story immediately gained criticisms from Netizens who accused the actress for being insensitive.

Upon the negative comments that accumulated online, Daza posted another IG story and apologized to everyone for her offensive action.
Daza said, “Hi guys, I just wanted to apologize for the previous IG story post on Africa vs hats. It didn’t come off the way I played it in my head—it was insensitive and offensive and I take full responsibility for my actions.”

She even promised that she will be more careful of what she posts on the internet.

She added, “It was a lapse of judgment and I appreciate the feedback from you guys. Moving forward I will be more mindful of what I post. Again I am sorry.”
